What to do…
Your first mission when you get involved in a company like this is to use the product! Set up your first domain. Install a blog on it. Set up an autoresponder and start building a list. So many people are signing up and then want to see if it works. How are you going to see it work if you don’t even have a domain set up on your new hosting company?
Here is what to do in order of importance:
- Get a domain for your business. Try to make it as simple as possible, and make it have something to do with your main business. I recommend getting a domain at http://firmnets.com because they are very inexpensive for the first year.
- Create an account in your Web Host Manager (WHM) in your GVO account. Use the domain name you have just created. I don’t recommend assigning it more than 500 to 1024 MB of storage. For Bandwidth, 2048 to 4096 MB is plenty.
- Install a blog on your domain, now that you have created an account and set it up. You can have someone do it for you, or you can use this program to install it in three easy steps. I do not recommend using Fantastico because of the security loopholes inherent with it. If you do use Fantastico, you can fix the security using this free report.
- Create an opt-in form to add to your blog using your eresponder pro in the members area of GVO. You can create a simple form and add it to your blog’s sidebar. This is great, because you are using your own tools and building a list of people that you can send offers to in the future. This is bigger than making referrals to your GVO business. But you have to have your home base (your blog) set up before you get to this step.
This is what needs to happen in your business before you can expect anyone to take you seriously in your GVO business. I mean, if you are telling people about the great tools for getting a business online and you do not even have a domain hosted on your GVO account… what are you telling your prospects?
“It is really easy to set up a domain on your WHM with GVO hosting!” you say to your prospect.
“Really? Can you show me how to do it? Just walk me through it on your account and I will be able to do it when I sign up for mine,” your prospect asks.
“Um. Errr. Oh, I haven’t moved my sites off of my Host Gator account yet… ” How embarrassing is that?
So get yourself into your business before you can expect others to get into it. It will make all the difference in the world!

GVO Makes The Profits Inevitable…
Posted by: | CommentsBut, you have to do something.
I have a lot of direct referrals who have already made some money. But some are already quitting, too.
What is the difference?
When you sign up for a hosting account, one of the first things you should be doing is taking advantage of the high speed servers and setting up your websites on it. After all, the reason you signed up for GVO is the hosting, right? If you are worried about the expense of your GVO account, why are you keeping your domains on your old servers? Cut your expenses as quickly as you can. You are in a position for making a lot of money if you take advantage of this opportunity, but you should not make yourself financially unstable by keeping too many different hosting accounts live.
Yvonne has been moving our accounts for the last few weeks and we managed to close 2 hosting accounts and 1 aweber account to save over $60 per month by switch over to GVO. I still have to move sites from one of my reseller hosting accounts (over 80 domains) that will also save me $40 more per month.
Social Network Ideas
I’ve been carrying on about the fantastic strategies coming from Robert Grant and his business partner Ian David Chapman.
If you haven’t heard of them yet, you will very soon. Because what they are doing here is turning traditional traffic generation and marketing on it’s ear…
They’re giving away gobs of terrific content. And if I were you, I’d definitely take advantage of it.
You see, these guys have figured out the mother lode of Facebook—and exactly how to monetize it.
Now before you glaze over thinking this is another of THOSE messages—let me just tell you these guys eat, sleep, and breathe
social media. Actually—they’re half way around the world and I don’t think they EVER sleep.
Because as far as I can tell, they are obsessed with figuring out every detail of their strategies, AND proving that they work in ANY niche market.
Watch this and you’ll soon see what I mean…
Now you’ve probably heard that the money is in the l.i.s.t. right? And it is—but the problem these days is GETTING one without going broke.
And even more important—having a way to TALK to your subscribers that doesn’t totally piss them off.
Well guess what?
Watch this video and get their unbelievably complete report (which they are GIVING away) and you’ll soon understand why implementing this strategy is better than a traditional website.
There are 3 reasons why you should do this:
- This strategy has the ability to go viral extremely fast
- This strategy allows you to collect more email leads than you ever could on a traditional website because soooo many people will hear about it
- You can easily “speak” to your people up to THREE times a day and they will LOVE you for it!
Grab this while you can. I really think they should be charging
for this information, but these crazy guys are giving it away.
Have an amazing day!
Yvonne & Micheal
P.S. There’s something very important about this strategy. It’s
called RELATIONSHIP. If you’re into “hit and run” marketing this
isn’t for you. But if you want to build a sustainable business that
delivers a ton of value, you should watch this immediately.
